the story —

From Ivy League
fields
to the floor.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Justyn Williams started playing organized sports at five years old, gaining firsthand experience on what it means to be an effective coach through the first and most impactful coach he’s ever had – his Dad. He maintained a passion for movement and fitness all the way through his time winning Ivy League championships as a college football player, an experience that established the foundation for everything that followed.

Before coaching, he spent eight years in tech sales and recruiting, improv and entertainment, and a brief stint as a sommelier – all experiences that sharpened how he relates with others, remains adaptable, and communicates with care.

Today, Justyn coaches at Monarch Athletic Club in Los Angeles and runs an independent practice that reaches anyone looking to find their thrive in life.

the philosophy —

How you show up physically has a direct impact on how you navigate everything else. Work. Relationships. Energy. Clarity. I'm not here to hand you someone else's program — I'm here to help you find your thrive. You're the captain of your ship. While we're together, I'm here to be the wind behind your sails.

Frequent Travelers

Your schedule moves constantly — time zones, hotel gyms, client dinners. Your training should flex with you, not collapse under the pressure. We build a system that goes wherever you go.

Always in motion →

The Returning Athlete

You played. You competed. Life got in the way. Or maybe you've never played organized sports but always wondered what your body could really do. Either way — this is exactly where you start.

Reclaim what's yours →

Desk-Bound Professionals

Eight to twelve hours at a screen leaves a physical record in your body — stiffness, chronic pain, disconnection. We address the actual cause, not just the symptom.

Beyond the
gym floor.

Strength is the foundation. But the work shows up on tracks, trails, fields, and in high school weight rooms where athletes are figuring out what their bodies can really do. Two communities I'm deeply committed to.

I know from experience — this is where the habits form. Coaching high school athletes isn't just about performance — it's about teaching a relationship with training that lasts well beyond the final whistle.

Justyn Williams

heard from the field —

In Their
Words.

While working with Justyn, I was able to set a half-marathon PR after becoming confident in my body’s ability to follow a more rigorous running training block. He found where I was weak — and fast. He shifted my focus to full muscle engagement, which improved my core strength and made every movement more explosive. He takes traditional lifts and adds a uniquely challenging element that keeps training exciting and purposeful.

Strength client

What stuck with me most was Justyn’s holistic view and how he translates health into everyday life rather than making it a grand commitment that’s hard to stick with. He’s human-first. My confidence and mindset improved the most, and I now feel at home in the gym in a way I previously didn’t.

Ali

Wellness & strength client

Justyn is empathetic, technically sharp, and professional. Over six months I received precise feedback on form, felt genuinely challenged every session, and made serious progress — both mentally in my focus and physically in my body composition. His flexibility around my unpredictable travel schedule made it all work.

Bryant C.

Long-term strength client

Working with Justyn has been a game-changer. In just two months he pushed me past what I thought my limits were while keeping every session dynamic and fun. His mix of strength, cardio, and mobility — always with an eye on form and injury prevention — and his positive energy is what sets him apart.

Matthew L.

Performance client

I came to Justyn to add strength training to my long-distance running routine. I gained a lot — technique, programming, how to lift specifically for my goals. If you want to get stronger and refine your practice, work with him.

George

Runner & strength client

I worked with Justyn for just over a month before the 2023 Dallas Marathon — and didn’t just reach my goal time, I far surpassed it. Every session was professional and educational. Highly recommend for anyone chasing immediate goals or preparing for what’s next.

Colby D.

Marathon runner

I was dealing with a health challenge when I joined a gym and signed up for personal training. Justyn was highly relatable, always inspiring — and his ability to build a tailored program was absolutely clutch.

Michael C.

Personal training client

I started strength training with Justyn to prepare for the 2024 New York Marathon. My mindset, form, and movement quality improved the most, but what surprised me was the vibe. I came in half-expecting a Biggest Loser situation (lol), but it was always positive and encouraging, never mean. Not surprising once you get to know him, but a welcome revelation either way.
